Following the news that Thames Hospice has had planning permission agreed, in principle, to build a state-of-the-art hospice by Bray Lake, Summerleaze, which has given the Hospice the option to buy the land, has expressed its support.

Mike Lowe, Director of Summerleaze said:

‘Thames Hospice provides expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire.
‘The charity plays an important role in caring for the physical, social and psychological needs of its patients and the highly skilled medical team works with the patient, their family and carers.

‘We are delighted that planning permission on our land at Bray Lake has been granted to allow this important charity to continue their work and expand the services that they offer to those in need.’
